Ladies and gentlemen boys and girls of all ages welcome to the 대박 show. Today we have a catching up episode with a very special guest. You may know him for many things. But I guess most of you may know him for he's amazing group 2PM.. You guys already know. You guys read the description. I'm just gonna introduce.. What's up?

Thank you. I wanted to build it up then I was like I was gonna get really embarrassed as I build you up so I was like.. I'm gonna just.. stop. How are you?

 

Hey, guys. I'm Nichkhun from 2PM. I've been wanting to get on this show for a while but this guy too buzy for me so.. I'm just kidding.

Good! Last time I saw you was at my house right?

Yeah. That was two months ago? Is it longer?

I have no idea. You finished something, you came over.

Absolutely, pretty much. Catching up this episode you kind of talk about how you got to where you are and what you've been up to.. So nothing complicated, nothing crazy. We do have some fan questions and a little quiz at the end which I think is fitting cause you just started emceeing quiz show.

So, well that's it. We're gonna just jumping to it and um.. just ask. How are you?

 

I'm good as good as I could be during this crazy times. You know it was just like.. um.. When I work I just work. When I don't work I'm just like at home on my PS4 or work out. Well during this when we work filming this it's like it's still a 2.5 right? (so you can't go to a gym.) So can't go to a gym so I'm just like free waiting at home.

 

Just hanging. But you had a cool spot. You have like.. you got your big TV.

So like... So that like.. I don't.. I wouldn't never have to leave. I got everything just right where I want them to be. And um... yeah. How are you?

 

I'm good. I've just been podcasting my life away. literally I feel like this is all I do.

Cause there's nothing else we could do.

 

There isn't. But you know what? Honestly, It's great because it gives me an excuse to see people like yourself to see Jessi or BM or whoever. Like 명분 there's a reason for us like hang out and just talk.. and I think.. The other thing is whenever I have convarsations I end up knowing more about whoever the friend than I did before.

 

Yeah, because.. you know. Before the night you came over to my house, we never really talked. We would say "Hi~" like.. We would say "Hi~ Let's hang out soon" but never really talk. You came over. and like.. Oh man, we have a lot in common. And we just you know, we just connected.

 

We did. It was good time and then it was always funny. Cause I felt like whenever we would always like text each other or DM. We were in the same country but in the different place and always missing each other by day.

 

Like that onetime I was in the states right before the.. the pandemic started in the states. Um.. you were doing a tour. And I'm.. I was there with my family and I was gonna do this whole road trip from Napa Vally and down to LA. And we kept missing each other. I was in this.. I was just there... I was gonna be here. I'm gonna be here.

 

So, I mean I'm glad we got to connect and I'm glad you're here. um.. I feel like.. obviously for people who are fans 대박 show.. It's a treat for them because they get to hear their favorite artists speaking in english and just talk about whatever people talk about  

 

A lot of people forgot that I am not Korean.

 

Right, do you get that a lot?

 

Yeah, sometimes I do. I'm like this so.. It's just so natural to me like eating Korean's food or just saying Korean words. I'm like 'Wait, I wasn't born here.' Yeah~ this is not really home for me but already feels like home for me. Cause I've been living here for 14 years now. That's longer then I've lived anywhere else in the world. Cause I was born in LA live there until I was two and we moved to Tailand and I lived there for like 10 years. And I moved to New Zealand for like 2 years for school and then I moved to America for high school and then I came here 2006 and I've been here ever since.

 

That's wild, that 14 years. 

 

It's a long time. And It went by like so quickly. That um.. It's felt like yesterday when I landed here. And my manager took me to eat 불고기 for like the first time.

 

What was that experience like

 

And I was like.. "Oh, this is yummy. This is yummy." And like.. It was like early in the morning I landed. It was like five am flight from LA. And then we had that 불고기. And then he took me to 숙소. And the first guy I saw was Jun.K. He can speak english. His english is actually pretty good. So he was the like my first friend in Korea. He would take me to places. He knew I like Heineken. So he would call himself "I'm your Heineken brother" He introduced me to most of my friends in Korea. So I have like friends who.. We've been in touch we've been friends for like 14 years ever since I came to Korea. so..
